Rental Agreement

It is the responsibility of the party who ordered the rental to replace it in the event of stolen or damaged signs. Please help us safeguard any displays placed on your property.

  1. Payment is required (via an invoice) at the time of order to confirm and hold your date.

  2. You will be invoiced for missing or damaged yard display items.

  3. If your sign greeting is a surprise, please notify at least one person from the household that we will be showing up for set-up.

  4. It's very important that the area where the greeting will be placed is watered so it's easier for us to stake the signs in to the ground. Drought conditions make it virtually impossible to puncture the soil unless the ground is watered thoroughly. Water sprinklers should be turned off from the time we set-up to the time we take down. Hand watering is okay.

  5. We are not able to set-up in gravel or excessively rocky yards.

  6. During the late fall, winter, and early spring months we may not be able to set-up your greeting traditionally in the ground with wire racks because of frozen ground or snow. If this is the case we may use our wooden sign racks.

  7. For the safety of everyone, especially children, please DO NOT allow anyone to play on or around the lawn greetings display. Our display items WILL NOT safely support the weight of a child or adult leaning, sitting or playing on it. Please discourage all persons from playing on or around the display.

  8. Please protect our inventory from any damage that might be caused due to flying debris from lawnmowers, dogs, etc. Contact with string trimmers may cause damage as well.

  9. Do not mow around any area near the display. If you have a lawn crew, please arrange for them to come on a date that the display is NOT on the lawn. Grass clippings stain and can take hours to clean and wipe off signs.

  10. Please do not throw yard display items in the garbage, or vandalize our signs.

  11. Please do not attach balloons to any part of the display.

  12. We encourage you to pose next to the display to take photographs of your celebration.  However, please do not pull the signs from the ground. 4U Yard Greetings is not responsible or liable for any injury or damage that may be caused to any person or personal property while the display is on your property.

Refund Policy
  1. If you must cancel your booking prior to 48 hours before rental, you may leave the full amount on credit for a future booking date, based on our availability, or receive a full refund (minus a $5.00 charge to cover the fee from PayPal or Square). If you paid in cash or check you will receive a full refund.

  2. You will receive a full refund, or you may leave the full amount on credit for a future booking date, based on our availability if extreme weather conditions (severe wind, snow storm, blizzard, etc.) prevent us from setting up your sign display.

You will NOT receive a refund if:

  • You cancel within 48 hours of the greeting rental.

  • The homeowner stopped us from setting up or requesting us to remove the lawn display.

  • The wrong address was given to us and we are unable to contact the homeowner or purchaser for the correct address.

  • The homeowner has any animals that prevent the display from being set up.

  • Denied access to a gated community.

  • Gravel or excessively rocky soil where the display is to be placed.

  • Or any other reason we cannot set up the display that is beyond our control.

Rental and Reservations Policies

We may either begin installing greetings between the hours of 5:00 pm and 10:00 pm the night before the rental OR between the hours of 4:00 am and 7:00 am the date of rental, and pickup the following afternoon by 3:00 PM. Please let us know if you have a preference either way.

By placing an order with us, you agree to all policies stated above.
